A Warm Welcome To The Service Organization
The Bangalore Airport city Lions Service Trust is formed to establish and manage the permanent service projects of Lions Club of Bangalore Airport city. Only Lion member can become the trustees of Lions Service trust.
It is a NGO established to serve the poor and needy people in the field of health, education, physically challenged, senior citizens and other similar such fields by establishing hospitals, orphans centers, hostels, old age home etc.
The Bangalore Airport city Lions Service Trust has formed on 06.03.1997. The founder Chairman is Lion H.N.Vijayaraghava Reddy. Immediate past Chairman is Lion M. Muni Reddy and Lion S Somashekar. Now the present chairman is Lion Linga Reddy.
About The Club
Lions club of Bangalore Airport city is a member of the International lions organization established trough out the world, to serve the weaker section and the needy section of the society like EYE CAMP,HEALTH CAMPS, Help the needy for their education etc.
Our Motto is 'We Serve', and in spirit with the same service the Lions club of Airport City was founded in the year 1993 and for the past 27 years is continuously providing, service to the weaker sections of the society by conducting different Camps like Eye camps and organizing Eye operations, Hunger Relief camps, Health checkup camps, wherever needed .
Lions club of Bangalore Airport city was sponsored by Lions club of Bangalore east, and the Founder president of the club was Ln H N Vijaya Raghava Reddy, Secretary Ln Nanjappa, and the treasurer along with other charter members.
In addition to regular services to the community the club members have decided to take up the promotional service projects to the serve the society by Establishing a Hospital, Old Age Home, Girls Hostel and adopted 2 government school and Hostel for poor Orphan Students etc.
Since all these permanent activities cannot be established with acquiring the Immovable property, and the lions club international are not permitted to posses or acquire any Immovable property/Assets in the clubs name, the members of lions club of Bangalore Airport city felt the need fo the trust and established a trust in the year 1997 to acquire the properties and to establish permanent service projects
As a Result the trust was formed in the year 1997 by the Charted President of the club Ln H N Vijaya Raghava Reddy, Secratory Ln Nagendra and Treasurer Ln V S Reddy along with a Team of 25 charter members.
The Trust founding team and the Office bearers were all well placed, educated members of the society, came and join hands for this noble cause to serve the society.
